To create the fine detailed realism which
is typical of Denise Maxwell's unique style, the artist uses fine
drawing with water resistant ink as a base for her watercolour paintings.
Influenced by wildlife artist Robert Bateman, Denise has developed
her own style. She works from her photo images taken locally in
her neighbourhood, parks and waterways in Vancouver.
